Hi!  My name is Stephanie and welcome to Stephanie Costa Photography! I am the owner, main photographer and editor of our studio.

As a professional photographer, I assume that you'd expect me to have a love for photography - and you'd be right! :)  You can ask my friends and family, as they'd vouch that my camera is always by my side (sometimes too much!).  Ever since graduating from college (with degrees in Economics and Marketing), I've worked for many large corporations and have only pursued photography as a hobby.  I finally decided to take the leap from office-life and pursue my passion of documenting life's best moments through the art of photography- and honestly, it's the best decision I've ever made!  

Life's too short to be doing anything but something you're passionate about.  

My goal with every photograph is to document and showcase the beauty of each moment.  A lot of photographers talk about their individual "style" and you may want to know what mine is.  It's hard for me to give you only one style since I believe every situation is different and I want to portray each timeless moment as accurately as possible.  I will tell you that I love bringing out the natural, vibrant beauty and colors of each capture.  Don't get me wrong, I love romantic black and white photos too :)
 
I shoot digitally, with professional Sony cameras and accessories.  After a shoot, all digital files are promptly uploaded to multiple locations to ensure there are backups.  Most of my shoots are done on location but I also have a studio located in North Reading, Massachusetts. 

Aside from photography, what else can I tell you?  I was born and raised in the Boston area.  I grew up in North Reading and currently reside in North Andover.  I have a wonderful family, husband and 4-legged best-friend, Brodie (he's a Border Collie mix we rescued from the MSPCA in Methuen).  I also assist my husband with his landscaping company, C&C Landscaping Maintenance (cclandscapingmaintenance.com if you need a great landscaper).  I also recently launched an amazing curtain accessory small business, Curtain Perfect, LLC spacers (www.myperfectcurtains.com) and would love for you to check it out if you have curtains hanging throughout your home!

 

As for hobbies, I LOVE to travel and see new places.  I am also a HUGE New England Patriots fan, Disney geek, enjoy hiking with my dog, playing piano, SCUBA diving, and just having a good old-fashioned BBQ with friends and family.
